You know who your friends are. They’re the ones who were there from the start. Even when the start is still here. When you have nothing. When you haven’t built up a solid track record over many years.. yet.
Yeah. They’re the ones who have your back and believe in you. Simply because they want to see you do well. Not for personal gain, fame, or any vanity metrics. They see that spark in your eye. Even when others discount, disregard, or ignore the earnest potential held within you.
Then.. there’s that ONE friend.. who showed up for you from the very start.
Whenever you’re around them.. they lift you up. They put a smile on your face. They’re easy to talk with. They have your best interest at heart. They don’t need recognition, a certificate, or an award for this. It’s known between you and them and that’s enough. There’s a silent unspoken reciprocity that flows naturally.
